Win a free training session with Polish judo champion at his Leyton gym

Vitamin Shop is proud to report that Robert Kolski, a very talented Polish judo champion (black belt, Eurometropole Champion 2011: 2 x gold, Eurometropole Judo Championship 2010: 2 x Silver) has just joined the chain’s team of athletes. Training along his master, Raymond Stevens (1992 Olympic silver medalist), Robert, 35, from Ashford Middlesex, is now preparing for the Ontario International Masters Judo Championships 2011.
Robert Kolski’s story is one of patience and perseverance. Born in Poland, he trained in Olimpia Poznan team to become an Olympic champion when at 13 his sport dreams were shattered by a terrible knee injury. Left alone, he switched to bodybuilding and only revived his dream of becoming a successful judoka after coming to the UK in 2006. Here he met his mentors – British Olympic champion Raymond Stevens and Brazilian Ju-Jitsu star, Roger Gracie. He also worked in the first UK’s rapid response infection control team at St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey. Now he is a proud co-owner of the martial arts gym in Leyton, Spartan, which opened in March.

You can win a free training session with Robert at his martial arts gym in Leyton. Send email to ola (at) vitamin-shop.co.uk.
