Directory of Children's Fund Services 2007-08
Hamara Hip Hop
Hip Hop aims to provide children with diabilites with access to mainstream leisure and play opportunities in the local communities. Hmara's trained play workers provide individualised one-to-one support for disabled children to enable them to attend and enjoy mainstream play schemes and summer camps. The Children's Fund also part funds a weekly swimming group, which enables disabled children to enjoy supervised Key Activities: Intergrated play and swimming

Hamara Siblings Project
Hamara Siblings Project aims to tackle the problems faced by siblings of children with disabilites such as isolatin, lack of socail networks, lack of attention from parents, underachievement and bullying at school by engaging them in a variety of leisure activities with peers who have similar home circumstances and who understand the difficulties of other group members. it also helps to build their confidence by providing them access to consistent staff members with whom they can diacuss any issues

Ladders -
Ladders runs workshops in Visual Art, video production, drumming, dance, poetry,drama,multicultural music, rap and DJ/MC skills with the aim of helping children and young people to improve their literacy, numeracy, team working and social skills. The project also aims to reduce prejudice, school exclusions, anti-social behaviour and youth crime. The project targets children and young people fromdisadvantaged backgrounds, in particular those with disabilities, black and minority ethnic communites, refugees and asylum seekers. It provides children with exciting and creative leisure activities while enabling them to improve their people skills, confidence and self-esteem
