Innovative Dance Programmes for Communities & Artists in East London: Can It Make a Difference? Speaker: Kiki GaleKiki, Director of East London Dance, will reflect on its impact bringing together artists & communities in dance projects of all kinds. She has a strong background as a dance performer, choreographer & animateur. ELD’s focus is on the creative, inspirational & transforming activity of making dance. These cross a spectrum of dance-making from the private to the public, from a one-off dance workshop concluding with participants sharing their creative efforts, to professional artists working with community dancers making a performance for families & friends, to commissioning a dance company to make a new work for a public premiere in East London followed by a national & international tour.
